Jack Turpin

TEACHING ASSISTANT(S):

DESCRIPTION:

Students engage critically with experimentation in animated image making. Through screenings, readings, and discussions, students become familiar with legacy of experimental animation; and are challenged to reckon it with contemporary moment. By looking to experiments of past, how can students better understand present and find novel approaches to future? No specific technical skills required, though students expected to draw upon their individual expertise for class projects.
