I stuck with the questions Billy used to compare playtests. I asked some of my neighbors to play and this is what they said.
1) What did you most enjoy about AI Fighter?
I like running around the edge of the screen with the little guy.
It’s fun to train the AI to be really annoying.
2) What did you least enjoy, what was most frustrating?
The controls don’t seem fluid enough.
There’s no walls so I just he just runs away from my AI forever.
3) How did the controls feel? Did they make sense?
Yeah, they make sense.
I kept forgetting which button did stuff.
4) Did the controls ever feel clunky or awkward? When?
It kinda did when you attack and dodge.
The buttons don’t need rearranging or anything. They work fine.
5) Are there moves that you would like to be able to do?
I want to cast spells.
I want to do super combo attacks.
6) What was your strategy for winning?
I just ran away a lot.
I ended up using the dash attack and the arrows a lot.
7) Did you feel that your AI (the AI that fought against your opponent) had your playstyle?
He sort of did the stuff I did.
It’s hard to tell unless you only do one thing.
Were you able to train your AI to do what you wished?
I don’t know, I just tried to do whatever.
It worked pretty good when I stuck to two or three moves.
9) Did you feel that you were interacting with the other player?
No, I didn’t really pay attention when I was running around the edge with the little man.
No, we don’t really play at the same time.
10) If you could change just one thing, what would it be?
Have the little guy do more stuff.
Make the attacks do more things.
