The movement on the main character feels very floaty. Slowing the player down is hard, because changing direction sends you quickly in the other direction, and there is no delay on jump, and it appears that once you are jumping you are committed to a very full height. Together these two factors make it hard have the fine control often needed in a platformer. If you don’t need this fine control, the loose controls are actually fairly fun, and may lead to a faster feeling of play.
