Art-Based Research in Times of Climate Change
Study highlights importance of art research and education, particularly in times of climate change and social unrest.
It is through arts that scope of human experience in creativity, innovation, empathy, culture, and knowledge is learned, expressed, and distributed;
both for common good and development of individual. By highlighting collaborative research between artists and humanists, scientists, and other
researchers and scholars, study demonstrates important role of art research in academia at this important juncture. Students participate in hands-on
workshops, attend Art|Sci Center events, keep blog, and visit campus researchers. Class meets April 4, 18, May 2, 16, 30.
