Peter Lu - Space Adventures

A game about imagination and exploration of the mysterious unknown world beyond the skies.

Final project » Currently windows only. But Mac and Linux versions may be available soon.

Smashing my project to pieces » Currently windows only.

The intent of this game is to capture the feeling of imagination, mystery, and wonderment of a child. As a child, we see but do not understand the world out there and fill in the blanks in our experience with out imagination. Space hangs prominently in the sky at night and yet we can never touch, hear, taste or smell it. As a child, we can imagine what is out there.

The second link is the same as the first with just one line of code removed. It turns the former game into an interactive drawing toy and probably completely destroys the original intent of the project. Nevertheless, the psychadelic spinning pictures that never go away accompanied science fiction sounds create an audio-visual experience that shows some coherence. At the very least, it looks pretty cool!
