Here are the details and schedule for the final show:
DMA Grad Gallery
Install 10am-12pm and 2-5pm *you will need to install your own work
Exhibition and performance 5-7pm
Deinstall 7-9pm *you will need to deinstall your own work
The goal is to create a popup exhibition and performance space where we can share some of what we’ve been learning with students, friends, and visitors. It will be a mix of documentation and live performances.
Each of you is expected to present one gesture, either live or in documentation form. It is an option to present one gesture as a partner team, if it makes sense.
There is limited show time, so we will be curating the live performances from those proposed. If you do not perform live, you will instead show documentation of a previous gesture. For most of you, this will be the documentation generated from gesture 3: ritual user. Please fill out this Final Show Proposal Form to let us know what you’d like to show (live or documentation). The deadline is Thursday 11/29 at 9:00am.
